it was a sharp drop-off hidden by a little shadow that i miss read, thought it was flatter than it was and consequently a sharp face on the other side

basically a huge steep witches eye that was 30 feet across and about 15 feet down.

Had one like that last year. Tracks thru/over it plus a shadow, with tracks visible across the dune ahead, past the shadow. Seemed like a normal transition across a dune face but the bottom dropped out and my buddies car dropped into the hole and nosed into the face.
