New Shop Plans - Am I missing Anything?

I would put tie downs in the floor in the work bay they come in super handy when you need to straighten things. Sounds like you have most of the bases well covered my friend. Congrats on the new property.

I have mini splits in part of my shop and used the ceiling units instead of the wall units so I could have them in the areas that needed them most. I think they were about 900 each more than the wall mounts.

And a big ass American flag. IMG_6172.jpegIMG_6173.jpeg

Not big enough, I started with 50 x 100 added on to make it 50 x 135

. I did all the doors on one side, no cross ventilation and had to add ridge vents across the whole top as well as a big ass fan

Rain gutters so water doesn’t run down building and in doors.

My building has been in place for 20 years

Lots of birds have made nests inside and outside, we currently have baby barn owls

300 gal R/O water tank inside is a power move for washing all the toys. lots of guys to deliver water to you. great to fill the rv with also
Plumb an RO filter setup with float valve so no one has to deliver. RO is the only way to go.

@Dockmaster Speaking of RO and powerwashing. Is the wash area north of the building? If not, with a shop that large and floor drains, washing indoors is a definite possibility and lets you do it whenever you want.

Not sure I need this. We have really soft water up here and it rarely leaves any spotting. If anything, a simple inline system would be all I need.

I realize you never know what the future holds but I can't see why I would ever need bigger than 50x80. As mentioned, there is a 30x40 there already. And the house we are building will have an attached 6 car garage. Besides, I'm working on reducing the fleet :)
