Need help/advice please, Mother in Law served with 30-day eviction notice

1. Make plans to move the Mom ASAP, time is ticking no matter how you look at it. Mentally align yourself with her being gone from the property VERY SOON.

2. The daughter is 100% going to sell that property for profit. She doesn't give a fuck about any of you. There is nothing friendly going on with this situation.

3. Real estate and housing show EVERYONE's true colors, when the time comes. Friends, family... will all screw someone over when you least expect it. Apply this lesson to the rest of your friends and family so that you can be prepared if this situation recurs.

Good luck.

Such a shitty situation, feel bad for your wife and you, this landed in your hands.

"Yore lack of preparation, will not become my emergency" said @BaBaBouy to a fellow dude in our camp...try to live my life by those wise words.

Problem here is its yore wife's mom.

Spoke with 2 lawyers, one actually referred to the 2nd one. 2nd one stated that since Carol is a "Tenant at will", meaning she didn't pay rent cause her boyfriend handled expenses...she's SOL!!!
The Eviction will stand and then it will go to the court. That will buy her some time, but then she's got an eviction on her credit if she doesn't handle it.

So, to re-quote, but slightly change the infamous Bouy @BaBaBouy ......Their lack of preparation is NOW OUR EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!
Eff.

Life changes as it rolls on and things get put on hold.

My MIL got covid 5 years ago. She lived in Washington. We went to help her, then saw the conditions she was living in and decided to move her in with us and sell the house. House full of mice, roof leaking, and like 4 acres of overgrown blackberries.

She is 88 and still surfing the web and walking an hour a day.

Don't know what to tell you to do with the MIL's son. Good luck.
