It's Saturday april 25th 2026.. What is everyone doing this weekend?

Finally got my rental house occupied by a wonderful couple from church. Because they were moving in I went overboard. New flooring and base board. new paint inside and out, 14 LED flush mount lights, 2 new toilets, new microwave, oven and dishwasher. Massive tree trimming. Looks like a brand new house. Took 2 months to make it happen. Then I went to my daughter’s house to have a serious talk with my 3 grandsons. Appears the oldest one at 11 has a problem with saying rude things to my daughter. He’s a good kid. Just needs some corrections. After the meeting I told him if his mom calls me and says you say another thing like that again I will stop what I’m doing make a 2 hour round trip to look him in the eye and ask why it happened again! Today— resting!😎
 
Nursing a nice hangover after spending all of yesterday afternoon and evening celebrating my old friend and South Bay Legend Tyler Hatzikian's induction to the Hermosa Beach surfers walk of fame.

Besides being an incredible surfer and shaper, he's built at least a half a dozen vintage cars and I think he still races Sprint Cars

After the little snafu with my trailer and nothing working properly, thanks to this site and the awesome knowledge of people here figuring out it was my ground, I decided to just redo the 7-way plug, and break-away kit!
So, that was fun.
I know...I know...probably should have painted the front of the trailer, but then that is a whole other mess!

I haven't seen the mountain close this early in the 36 years ive lived here.
Pretty sad.
People have been giving away tickets the last month. Probably saw 20 tickets on people's wipers and antenna s.20260426_101114.jpg
 
Worked Saturday as mentioned. Sunday was a Home Depot run for some planter mix, flowers and plants to fill a few containers we picked up a few months ago. Got the planting done then the Sunday Costco run. @sand diva has a photo.
