Had one like that last year. Tracks thru/over it plus a shadow, with tracks visible across the dune ahead, past the shadow. Seemed like a normal transition across a dune face but the bottom dropped out and my buddies car dropped into the hole and nosed into the face.

Yikes ! Glad you are OK - Great Fix it Job to keep the magic carpet rides going !
 
That was a great nightmare to read right before I go to bed. I’m going to wake up abruptly in a cold sweat thinking I lawndarted my car into a witches eye now.

John, could you post a photo of your car? I just tried finding one in your previous posts on the website but didn’t have any luck.

I’m pretty sure someone probably has a picture of it at the Sand Drags.
