I figured with the summer heat among us and the fact I currently don’t have a sand rail in the garage(sold the Gen 3 in December), I would start a thread about buggies we have owned. In order:

1. 1978 Chenoweth with a 1915 VW
2. Early 2000s JP Designs 2332 VW
3. 2006 Sandcar Specialties CBM 383 LS
4. 2006 Revolution Sandcar Redline LS2
5. 2003 Funco Gen 3 Outfront Subie 17lbs of boost.

I have always really liked Amplified cars. My good friend has had one for a long time. I may end up getting one for my next car. I have also thought about looking for a Gen 4 or Gen 5 with a V8.

I loved that car and had it built new. Unfortunately my wife started to get scared in it so I sold it. I would definitely get another one. Someone on the board owns it now but I can't remember who.

You sold that way too cheap. I think that car went through a complete transformation. Full 3d body with red interior IIRC.

If you pick the right one, cost of ownership is low and they pay for themselves... like a properly chosen Dividend Stock.

My Honey Birdette upgrades have been the most costly, but more than acceptable.
