Actually oil is dropping in price, today included. It's at its lowest level so far this year. Definitely against conventional wisdom.
On a side note, Oregon is catching up to CA's fuel tax fast. The Dem majority is pushing a bill to further raise the fuel tax to CA levels despite having increased it at least twice in the last few years. And our roads, which used to be good, are falling apart!
