It sometimes seems everything has taken a 180 in the last 10 yrs, such as the left favoring war, limited free speech, etc. And the same with the right, although I tend to favor the changes on the right side of the center so I am biased.

The point, in case you missed it was the President saying "We don't do much business with Canada" while literally sitting next to the Prime minister of Canada, makes him (and us by association) look like an idiot.

Also, here's what the President's own Office of the US Trade Representative literally says about Canada on it's website today:

I don't think you... or millions of others in this country understand how his way of using "Sarcasm" (and what his own definition of it is) works. He exists, for reactions. Positive, negative... doesn't matter. He says oddball shit sometimes just to see what people do with it.

The guy has his own way of doing things that work, more than not. If you haven't taken the time to notice that (I did when I was a child and he was not even thinking about being POTUS), I don't know what to tell you. You seem like the kind of guy that would tell a woman, "You're not that hot", whilst trying to get into her pants, yet don't understand why Donald Trump would do the EXACT same thing. Good luck in life!
 
So the new Trump/China deal... Educate me please. How was this a win? Resetting the tariffs back the way they were for 90 days. So far China hasn't had to budge a bit

Just buying time to see if the two sides can make an actual deal. In the meantime, the manufacturing will ramp up and shipping will resume to keeping the ports busy for probably 60 of those 90 days. I would not be surprised if the pause gets extended beyond the 90 days.
 
There are two trillion dollars back in the stock market today. I'd say the first hundred days have been pretty good for investors. I feel like Trump threw everyone a bone.

It's totally dependent on how they reacted, of course. I should say the smart people made some money anyway.
