Speed UTV

This is why other manufacturers don't engage the public on social media, too many haters. Sharks looking for blood. Todd should be calling every customer and having a real conversation. I just don't get it, I would put my head down, fix everything and do great work.

Other manufacturers didn’t crowdsource their projects, and spend years testing prior to releasing a product (and still fail to predict public ingenuity to break shit).

That dyno run was when the engine was first developed and they had no idea. Now they are on tune 10 and RPMs need to be lower. I want to say the Can Am X3 on most dynos gets peak hp in the 8300rpm range.

Funny how Speed makes that post after Hollander makes his post about cost and issues.

Putting his head down and getting shit done is something that Robbie is not capable of. He’s more like the “look at me” guy that side wheelies across the hill on a holiday weekend. Which is a great attitude if you are a professional racer. It doesn’t help though if yore trying to manufacture the greatest utv the universe has seen.

225hp was touted to sell units and now the multiple tunes, changes, etc. they are forced to limit down to 8k RPM and puts it at 200hp (class action)

No other mfg. has had to dial back their HP ever, no less at 5 years from the release. There was always extra hp lurking that the aftermarket could tap into, but that's not the case with Speed at all.

Its just sad to watch. Hollander clearly poked them in a way that they rallied a response and he got a call, then pulled back and back peddled his post. heh.

RG seems quiet lately and TR is the one posting to customers, he answers questions better anyways.

A 20% throttle cut isn't stopping an engine from revving further. Fuel/spark/complete throttle cuts need to happen for that. For example...

If 8k is the upper limit, the above shouldn't happen regardless of clutching.

He has literally never cared about anyone but himself. I honestly don't think even Todd is safe from his personality flaws.

The constant changing world of Speed UTV who claimed they were working with the best of the best!.

The Speed tunes seem to have a lot of nannies other OEMs do not put into them.
