IDK How You People Do It

I don’t leave home much, can’t stand worthless people, I have a meeting at 830 am tomorrow. It’s going to be hell leaving the house

I don't leave much unless I have to, and when I do leave, I certainly don't drive the 210 or anything close to LA. And weekends are way too unpredictable anymore.

I seriously do not understand why some companies are so against remote workers. You can video in and do the same thing as being there.

Traffic sucks, no argument. Homeless, druggies....that's not just a problem in CA, they just stand out here more vs looking like the gen pop elsewhere.

AZ folks, temps hit a little early? June, July August isn't even here yet LOL
Don't forget AZ has their fill of crackheads, methheads, and homeless.

Phoenix has become unlivable for me in the last 5-7 years (been here since ‘81 from so cal). Traffic, crime, urban heat island effect (this has made it unbearable), no more friendliness and traffic has quadrupled or more. Im changing that next week. Later AZ!

I have to go to La once a month to drop off vehicles with a customer. Fortunately my of contact starts at 0530. I leave at 4 am get there at 530 back at home by 8am. That cannot be done during daylight hours

Why did you go that way?

You should have went down the 5, to the 138... headed into Palmdale. Hit the 14 south ... back on the 138 (Pearblossom Highway) and then to the 15. Would have dropped you very close to Rialto without any of that 210 BS. This is what I do when coming back from Yosemite during the middle of the day. You don't see 3/4 of the shit you complain about... but do get to experience Palmdale.

Second... you're in one of the most populated areas of So Cal at that point... roads are going to be fucked. Same as Dallas, Same as Houston, same as Phoenix, Denver and even SLC. Population densities create this issue, it's not just So Cal.

To answer the other question... there are a lot of good jobs here (San Diego) and it's really not as bad as you're outlining.

Six figure salary, 5 minutes from work with zero mortgage or rent payment and property taxes under 2k annually... hard to leave. Why would I?

Good perspectives - thank you. I guess it can’t be all that bad or why would millions of people live here right? I’m very familiar with San Diego, we have a division there I’m responsible for so I travel there quite often. Great Mexican restaurants there, something we are sorely lacking up in my area .

You take the 210 thru Pasadena to pass by my house....that's why fool.

LOL

When going East on the 210 thru the La Crescenta area, always turn down the 2 freeway and then hit 134 East to avoid the 210 interchange past the Rosebowl, that will save you 15 minutes. Other than that, just file in line and wait your turn. But then again staying East of the mtns thru Palmdale is much faster thru all of this

That area of the 210 is a traffic nightmare unless you roll through there between 8:30a - 11:30a.
