CFMOTO new sport machine the Z Force Z10

Cool video showing some of CFMoto’s China headquarters and some factory’s. The showroom is impressive and I knew CFMoto was building some KTM’s but did not know they were also building some Huskys. I expect with the KTM restructuring, CFMoto might be getting more contracts to build more models for them. Not mentioned in the video, but CFMoto also builds small engine scooters for Yamaha which are only for Asia.

Check out how crazy clean & nice the factories were. They briefly mentioned their new Mexico factory, which I’m told all the Minnesota/ North American designed vehicles will be manufactured there. The U10 Highlander & HVAC model is currently in production in Mexico, and I was told we might see the Z10 production start in Mexico after the first of the year. Some of the stats were pretty impressive. The lead designer for CFMoto told me a year ago they were serious and going to be a big player in the USA Powersports business in the next few years.

Love'em or hate'em...there's no denying that they are going to shake up the U.S. market. Honestly, they already have. Its crazy how fast they have grown and continue to grow. I see them everywhere around here.

Is Super ATV going to start making parts for them? At the Sand Show the CFMoto guys said two companies in the Midwest are already starting to build suspension parts or kits for the U10 Highlander utility. He said one brand moves the front arms forward a bit to allow 35? inch tires, and the other kit does the same but adds two inches on each side making it 4 inches wider and some more travel. I guess MCS also have clutch kits out for these things too.

Oh yeah! We already have a bunch of the basic stuff like windshields, skid plates, and other accessories with a ton of big things in the works.

Its an awesome addition to the UTV market and it is totally kicking ass in the Midwest right now. The U10 sales are right up there with the Ranger Northstars and Defender cab models, around here anyway. They are $10k+ less, and just as decked out, powerful, and reliable.

They are a no-brainer in the utility and industrial market for anybody wanting/needing a UTV on a more limited budget.

Plus...CFMOTO is smart. They fully support the aftermarket involvement. They see us more like free promotion, while some of the top tier see us as competition.

This is awesome to hear. Good news is you say they are reliable. Thats the same engine that’s going in the Z10, but will have a low boost turbo.

Fun fact I was shown tabs on the Z10 chassis that “Could Be” for a future inner cooler so that more boost & power could be added on a future model. Same with the alternator mounts cast in the engine case, which also benefits the U10 and probably the future “Xpedition” model coming out after the Z10.IMG_5162.jpeg

They have all the tech and engineering capabilities to build some wild stuff...if they want to.

I foresee them taking a HUGE chunk of the Polaris and Can-Am market share in the next couple of years. The U10 is already selling like crazy...and that Z10 has a whole lot of people interested.

This is great for the whole off-road industry. It is going to force the big dogs to up their game....AND push them to price these machines a little more competitively. Sure, your Pro R and Northstar Ranger is awesome and that Mav R is a rocket and the HD11 Defender is loaded with goodies, but your uncle Ricky and your brother Bobby want to ride too...and they can't afford that Popo/Can-am price tag. Now uncle Ricky has a turbo and gets to hang right in there with the Pro R and Mav R in his Z10...and it cost half has much.
 
It’s official the CFMoto Z10 will be at dealers in April or possibly late March. This week Dealers were told they can take deposits and place their orders now. I have a feeling the larger higher volume CFMoto dealers like MSC (Main Street Cycle) in Mississippi will get the first shipments in late March.

If this holds true then I’d think the CFMoto hybrid sport/Overland HVAC model (think sport Xpedition) will be released by the end of 2026 for the 2027 model year.

The new U10 Highlander utility, Z10 sport and the (Xpedition competitor) are all to be built at the Mexico plant, and looking at the time line from the start of the U10 production to Z10, they should be able to get the 3rd model in production by the end of the year.

I was told much of the delays was getting the Mexico factory, which is brand new up & running, and to get the U10 in production first. Once they were confident in the factory & labor, they would open the second production line, which at the San Show I was told the goal was to start building the Z10 parts and assembly after the first of the year. So the time line I was given all seems to match and be true.
 
Well the 1 year delay in releasing the Z10 is probably going to hurt CFMoto after today’s Can Am announcement.

Can Am just released a new X3 DS model that is compatible to the Z10 in specs and is now $19,995 like the Z10. Plus Can Am just announced all UTV’s & SXS now come with a 1 year warranty standard.

Can Am also has a new info system touch screen display that claims to be better then their previous system.

I will say I think the Z10 will still have some nicer features at the $19,999 price point, but for those who might be unsure of the CFMoto brand or name, can get into a Can Am X3 for the same price point.

I hope CFMoto is at the Sand Show this year with an update and release date for the Z10 and possibly other trims or models.

Edit; Just saw CFMoto has a huge booth at the Sand Show this year. It looks like the grass area that 4WP used to have. This would be the first year that CFMoto has their own booth at the show. Makes me hopeful we see & hear

Just for comparison of what I’d consider direct competition to the CFMOTO Z10. The Polaris RZR XP, Can Am X3 DS.

Here are basic specs of each, not including tech or comfort features.

2026 Polaris RZR XP 2 seat. $20K, 114 hp 2 cylinder N/A, Walker 2.0-2.5 shocks, 29 inch tire, 64 wide, 90 inch WB.

2026 Can Am X3 DS 2 seat. $20K, 135 hp 3 cylinder turbo, Showa 2.5 shocks, 30 inch tire, 64 wide 102 WB

2026 CFMOTO Z10 2 seat, 20K, 143 hp 3 cylinder turbo, Fox electric adjust 2.5 shocks, 30 inch tires, 64 wide 99 in WB.
 
Looking forward to this Z10. I guarantee we'll have one in the shop the day our dealer gets the call.

I doubt it will be a Pro R, Mav R, H2 competitor in HP, but its going to be a whole helluva lot of bang for the buck for what it is.
