I imagine strong arming them through our purchasing power.. we are the most medicated country in the world..

Gonna be simple, if you charge France $20 for a certain pill, then you can't charge the US $400 for the same pill, which is what they do.

Correct. The many different "Federal Agencies" have been lax in asking for "The Best And Final Price". The new concept is, ALL federal agencies will negotiate as one agency, and the best deal wins the largest Rx purchase in history.
