It's a longshot but ..........Yes, I know the season has ended. Yes, I know it will be hot. But I'm picking up my new car and have to give it some good shake down time before taking it to up to Oregon. I'm picking it up in the morning on 5/12 then plan to be out in Glamis by that afternoon. I'm planning for early morning and late evening or night rides. I'll be sitting in the moho with Gen and a/c's running during the hot part of the day. Any chance anyone will be there? Should would prefer to not be all alone.

I dropped my car off at the Wright Gearbox today so I won't be able to meet up. However, I stopped by Funco today to pick up a buddies car and got a chance to check out yours. I think you're going to be pretty stoked when you see it in person. Enjoy and hope the shake down run goes smoothly.

In Glamis now but planning to leave the end of the week.
Good luck with your new car and shakedown.

Thanks. I’m looking forward to seeing it soon. Last time I was there it was just starting assembly. Grant has been really good at sending me video updates as it has progressed. And Gary at C&G was pretty spot on with what he predicted the engine would produce. Only problem is now I have to cough up the final payment 🤑🤑💰💰

Unfortunately weather forecast shows high 90’s when I get there. It’s fine though, morning and evening temps will be good and it only shows being hot during the peak of the day. I’m going to be all alone so I see many
Glamis is closed the 12-15th for renovations, all east facing hills are being smoothed out.
I just checked the latest weather forecast and looks like I’m in for some wind as you suggest. Looks like my Moho will be a’rockin but not from the good way 😀😀

Forecast is improving. Now only showing wind on the first day then high 80's after that. Come on, somebody must be itching to get another trip in before you hang it up until October.

A couple of Funcos were on pad 3 across from me this morning. Looks like they were shaking them down.
Maybe one was yours.

They are testing a couple of cars in build behind me. Mine was there early last week. They will only be there a few hours today

@Dockmaster Let’s see some pics and a first ride report! What do you love and what do you like?
It was a short first trip to Glamis. Got chased away by the wind. I got a few hours of just basic back and forth around pad 2.5 only. But it was very worthwhile. Especially when Chad George came out and give me a little driving lesson and answered all my silly questions.

As far the car - I absolutely love it. It has greatly exceeded all my expectations in every way so far. The build quality, attention to detail and everything is just spot on. And @GrantGeorge and his team nailed the fit for my slightly larger than average body size and blubber count 😀😀

Gary at C&G did fantastic. I am really happy with the the steady power band and predictability of the blower motor. Exactly what I wanted.

I just pulled into Sand Mountain a little bit ago. @Justdirt was kind enough to agree to make the 4 hr drive for him and is meeting me here in the morning. It’s a small overall area but they don’t call it Sand Mountain for nothing. The giant hills will give me a good test tomorrow.
