I met Isky in 1962 at his "Old Shop" on "Slauson" blvd.
I was working for the city of Inglewood as a heavy equipment mechanic.
Ed had his machine shop near to the equipment yard I worked at.
I bought my first Isky cam from him that year. (For my Pontiac)
Later I moved on but Ed always treated me as a customer and friend.
Many cams were purchased from Ed over the years.
Later I had lunch weekly with Ed and his "Crew", Arias Pistons,
and too many old farts to recall.
Ed always carried the scraps from lunch for his dog.
Ed always drove a Caddy, stuffed with notes and plans for projects.
He will remain a irreplaceable legend, and will be missed.
