    Can Grok tune an engine?

Asking ChatGPt now. I think it’s a little tone def. “Your table gives it 16°, which is extremely retarded for that load and RPM.”

    Can Grok tune an engine?

Here’s my actual table. Slightly more conservative than yours I think. I’m looking to get more pull in the midrange… which is what I asked Grok to do :) I’m just using different units than you, psi vs. kpa

    Can Grok tune an engine?

Yeah, seems like 32deg is a bit aggressive. But maybe my 24.5 isn’t quite aggressive enough.

    Can Grok tune an engine?

Messing around with Grok last night and asked for an ignition table for an LS3 with an LSA supercharger and 9psi boost. Using 100 octane. What do you think of th

    It’s usually the obvious answer

Car was running rough all of a sudden. Idle was clean, mid-rpm was clean but off idle and lugging felt like it was missing. Pulled the Holley data logs. Couldn’t see anything suspect. All the ECU connectors were tight Hmm, what else could it be? LOL

    Mefi 4b help electrical issue

Do you have 12V to the Mefi? If you switch the ign on and the fuel pump doesn’t run… that indicates the ecu isn’t powering up

    Newbie from CA

Air to air in the back of a buggy can be pretty inefficient. You need airflow to make them work at peak efficiency. It will be better than nothing but certainly not ideal. Keeping it away from motor and exhaust heat is critical. I wouldn’t mount it the way the Subarus do. All that engine heat is...

    Camshaft

I agree on the calling a cam company and giving them what you want the motor to do for you. They will steer you right every time. TSP has be good for me but I don’t think there is really a bad company out there. Example: If you want the best dyno number at 6500RPM they can get that… if you...

Temperature difference between upper and lower radiator outlets

I’ve never quite understood why people make the On-off ranges so wide. The goal is tight temp control, not a 20-30degree range. Trying to cool the water from 200 to 185 takes a lot of air. That’s why the fans run so hard. Might consider putting the trigger range tighter together, like 205-200...

Thicker Fox Shims to Increase Damping?

    2x 15's = 21. You can calculate the effective thickness of 2 or more same diameter shims in a stack by: Sqrt(shim1^2 + Shim2^2) so, sqrt(15^2 + 15^2) or sqrt(450) = 21

    S4 first gen indictor?

I'm adding a gear indicator switch to my gen1 S4. I'd like to use it with my Holley Dash, has anyone done this and willing to share the details?

    Tires for rocky point

Even without the beach or the hill, there is a lot of sand all around town. Would be fun to have some Padla Trax to get a little more bite. If you are not going to be driving a lot on pavement you'd have fun. I run 37" BFG KR3's at 10psi.... still gotta watch where I stop.
