Found some better mounts for my lights for the A-pillar. These rotate to allow for more adjustability.

A lighter to heat up a blade makes quick work of the switch blanks. I think the a-pillar mounts that you attach where the cage is bolted to the frame will do the trick.

All done! Not thrilled with the a-pillar light mounts and Baja Designs mounts as there is not enough adjustability to point the lights down more. I will have to figure out another way to mount the lights.

Wires and cables all ran through the center console. I ran the power for the radio from the battery and used the bus bar for my lights. I was going to fish the lines through the grey conduit Kawi leaves, but it goes from the battery all the way through the fire wall and I assume it is there...

The best fuel mileage was the Jetta diesel. My brother-in-law had one and I drove from L.A. to Fresno and got 50mpg. Get a Mazada 3. Great gas mileage and it is peppy. I am seeing some stations at under $4.00 a gallon now.

Any of the Toyota hybrids would be a good choice. My friend has a Rivian SUV. It is really nice and stupid fast. No way I would do any road trip with an electric vehicle.
