Saw this too. I too would like to know more about the belt failure, as there can’t be very many miles on that car, and we saw them in PC running in triple digit heat without belt issues. I also would be curious know when the belt broke how was the debris in the cover and difficulty cleaning out...

That’s what I said, I don’t think any cars have a special break in tune built into them. But they do say to drive easy for the first x amount of miles or hours, and you should change your oils within a few hundred miles.

I think the break in is legit. I don’t think the cars de-tune themselves until a certain milage or hour, and then go full tune. But any new engine or transmission needs to break in and seat the metal. That’s why it’s always a good idea to change the oil in the first couple hundred miles to get...
