The snap on lens works good. It has never come off on it’s own. There has to be some light loss as compared the same light with an amber lens but I have no way of measuring it. I assume multiple snap on section would work if you had the longer light bars, but I just have the one lightbar.

I have an amber snap on cover for my Baja ONYX 6 light bar. I does change the light to amber and it is better at night. They also make an amber replacement lens that I should buy.
