Insured Value for Higher End Sandcar

That might help shield you a bit in case of a liability situation but it won't reduce your insurance premiums any. You still have to have an underling base policy that an umbrella sits on top of to then give more liability coverage. If anything, an LLC would likely complicate things on something...

What Do You Like For Tool Box Organizers?

I had all the Dewalt (yellow) stuff already which I really like. The box came with the Snap On (red) impacts, batts and chargers. I'm trying them out to see which I like better. My first use of the 1/2" Snap On impact and I like it. You don't seem to feel the impact blows and hear the clacking...

What Do You Like For Tool Box Organizers?

I went with the Ernst for wrenches and screwdrivers. So far, I like them. I had enough of the Hanson trays for sockets but will need something for Allen sockets, torx, and swivels that won’t work on the Hanson trays. I’ll probably order some Olsa or Alien’s for those.

What Do You Like For Tool Box Organizers?

I like the looks and organization of that style. Unfortunately, they take up too much room. Even with my new gigantic box I would run out of room. Yes, I have a knowledge I have a problem buying too many tools. Well, if that is a problem that can exist?? Don’t think you can ever have too many...

What Do You Like For Tool Box Organizers?

Curious what folks like for toolbox organizers? I just scored a huge triple bank MAC box with side lockers and I need to get it organized. I'm pretty OCD when it comes to this type of stuff :). I was looking at the Alien Space Saver and the Olsa brands. Any recommendations or actual experience...

Insured Value for Higher End Sandcar

Correct! I checked virtually all known companies and State Farm is the only one that insurers if you have higher value car. And yes, bend over and prepare for a dry insertion when you get the quote. If you get a SF agent that quotes you something lower they made a mistake and it will be...

    Moses Lake, WA Sand Dunes

Went there once with the family about 10 years ago. Not much there, no real dunes and the sand isn’t really sand, it’s ash. I have no plans to ever return.

Looking for a group to ride with this weekend St. Anthonys..

I was just thinking about you guys the other day and how much fun it was to ride with you and your family. Wish I could go again but the wife and I are on a flight to Mexico currently. Have fun and be safe!

    Fire suppression system

When I had my new car built I had pulls for the fire system put on both the driver's and passenger side. My logic was; what if the driver (me) is knocked unconscious in a roll-over or wreck and the car is on fire? I want the passenger to be able to discharge the system if necessary.

    Let's Talk Off-Road Jacks

I need to get a new off-road jack. My 1.5t HF with the lift kit is too small for my new, heavier car. I also want a stronger jack to keep in the trailer in case of a trailer flat. So I'm looking at all the 3t jscks out there. There is a lot of competition and new stuff in this market segment. So...

Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

Too bad they are using a CVT belt drive trans instead of going to a gear drive like Can Am did. Just sayin'

I tried two different vacuum style bleeders like that one and couldn’t get the air out. I went with a positive pressure style and it worked much better. Only issue with these is you maybe to make a custom cap to fit your master to attach the air feed hose. I went with this one and it worked...

I couldn’t get my brakes bled until I bought a positive pressure type bleeder. Once I got that it took less than 15 mins

Just curious, would they not dyno before you got your shocks? My car was dyno’d before shocks. Just put a piece of flatbar in temporarily.

    Selling thru a bank check

Agreed. I have bought and sold many cars, boats ,RVs, etc. this way. You have to go with him into the CU or bank and watch them issue the cashier’s check. There are many fraudulent ways to get these checks. That’s why banks hold them for 20 days to make absolutely sure they clear. Personally...

Possibly Best Father’s Day Gift Ever

I usually get tools, maybe a card or random stuff. No complaints here whatsoever. But this year my family got creative and possibly got me the best Father’s Day gift I’ve ever received. Gave it to me while we are out at the lake cabin. They had this custom made. I guess I have to stay Funco for...
