CV’s

the problem you'll run into running the factory FWD transmission is they are very wide this will cause you to offset the motor and transmission to get the axle length roughly the same length the factory axles almost have a 3" difference that's a big offset. you will also have to run a very short axle severely limiting your travel. it can be done but you are lightyears ahead running a vw style gearbox like an 091

Around the camp fire there are two style of duners,
1st style ( 930 guys always talking about axles and cv's that are broken or what to do so they dont break )

934 guys talk about how good the duning is, what is for dinner and where to dune next,
Running your motors, yes. :)

I doubt the S/C 3800 is gonna stress 930s though. Mine lasted nearly a decade with similar power.

This.

I like this 😂
At the end of the day, a great 930 cv for a GKN chromoly cage, posible upgraded star is going to be $200-250 each

Axles are getting close to the same price,
Breakings axles can break free and beat up the frame,
Breaking 930 cvs can shock load the trans, can be hard on the trans, and possible being stuck someplace where it can be a real chore to get out,

934 cvs from Empi are around $150 each and i have ran 1000+ hp no issues,

I got the HAAS going so starting on Adapters - for CV flanges its always better to change the stub-shaft but making adapter to go from 930 to 934 for some getting new stub shafts is to much on there budget,

In the Long Run 934 will save you money and time and will make the car more enjoyable.
