I've known Ed forever. A friend and customer.
My first cam was an "ISKY" cam'
Many ISKY cams since.
Yes, I sold Ed some laptops a few years ago.
Many breakfast meets with his gang at the local.
Sad for sure, but at 104, he's had a good run.

I meet him probably 25 years ago. He came to our shop to have lunch with our fabricator who is in the drag racing hall of fame. Tom Jobe from the Surfers.

ABSOLUTE LEGEND and lived his life to the ABSOLUTE FULLEST !!!!

RIP !! Godspeed (with an ISKY Cam Set up for the ride north !!)

I met Isky in 1962 at his "Old Shop" on "Slauson" blvd.
I was working for the city of Inglewood as a heavy equipment mechanic.
Ed had his machine shop near to the equipment yard I worked at.
I bought my first Isky cam from him that year. (For my Pontiac)
Later I moved on but Ed always treated me as a customer and friend.
Many cams were purchased from Ed over the years.
Later I had lunch weekly with Ed and his "Crew", Arias Pistons,
and too many old farts to recall.
Ed always carried the scraps from lunch for his dog.
Ed always drove a Caddy, stuffed with notes and plans for projects.
He will remain a irreplaceable legend, and will be missed.
R. I. P. Ed.
