My 2023 Genesis Supreme Vortex landing gear has never made me overly confident it wouldn't fail. I decided to swap out to some Ultra-Fab arms.

Swap was super easy, but the tabs that the trailer sit on the brackets were not in the right places.

I cut the tabs on the arms and welded in a new lower rest.

It’s very surprising that these trailers are only held up by some little 1/4” tabs.

Wired up to existing wiring and they work quieter and smoother than the Lippert ones it came with.

So it looks like the gear reduction part is deleted as well from the old setup.
Is there a manual jack screw for these if they fail?

Nothing external that I can see. The motor comes off the top with 4- 10mm socket heads. I assume there is a gear to nut adapter there you could turn.

I have never heard of them failing. That would suck!

What's the purpose of the piece you welded on? I thought it was to support the trailer weight, but it looks like it will be above the mounting bracket, not below it. I assume I'm not seeing something correctly 🤣

peace of mind, i figured since i was modifying the tab that why not add one on top to lock it all in.

Did you add the positive and negative distribution blocks yourself or did genesis finally start doing that? I recently cleaned things up on my 2016 and did the same.

Sheet!!! Genesis wiring sucks ass. I did all that and added 5-100AH batteries, and two more battery chargers. Pushing an extra 180 amps of charging when Onan is on. Eff some solar!

That's the direction I need to go, having kids watching movies, starlink, heater etc is killing my batteries quick
