Have you called Weddle yet? There is a slight possibility they have one hanging in the back of the shop with the used parts. I converted a PBS to a Weddle S5 a few years back, I can't remember if the customer got the parts back, or if I put them in the back of the shop.

The PBS and early Mendeola Gen 1 shift mechanisms DO NOT have any internal stops. It would be recommended to use a shifter with stops. If you do replace the entire shifter, it will also correct the cable throw so you do not have to "loop" the cable at the trans, which adds quite a bit of drag...
