The hardline is probably safer for your dual sport use...wish I hadn't thrown mine away, I'd give them to you.

Mine was hardlined for both supply and return, I went to -20 braided and don't have any regrets. The only reason I changed was the hardlines were an absolute hooker to get in & out when needed. Before: After:
