    Chromoly vs 300m 930 axles

300m is better in everyway other than price... 300m is pretty much 4340 on "steroids". Biggest differences is higher vanadium & silicon composition making it tougher and more ductile. Also another great benefit of 300m MTL, 300m is usually produced using VAR (vacuum arc remelting) When...

    33 vs 35 spline axles

Yes, 35 spline is a slightly larger pitch diameter and OD. Yes, cv star gets ever so slightly thinner (have yet to see or hear this being an issue). If its a new build go 35 spline and be done. The biggest downside is spares. It is easier to find a 33 spline 934 cv when you are in glamis.

Any fusion 360 experts here ?

As said above I wouldn't use the sheet metal function. model as normal save it as dxf file. Fusion is great and there spur gear function is okay but very limited.

Where to go from here? CV’s

Also on a side note, a 934 upgrade will definitely extend your cv life. although this being a 2d car I would probably recommend against it as it will put more rotating mass and stress on your 2d.

Where to go from here? CV’s

We have tested our SUPER CVs against all the other major players on the market. On a 6200 "spec class 1 car" gear one super CVs had a 500 mile longer "service life" than the next best cv. *note this test was only using 934 cv joints not 930. If you don't buy CV joints from me, I would recommend...

Racer Front Engine Sand Car - Why?

I doubt after you build a power glide or turbo 400 accordingly with a ford 9" you wont save much money compared to an S4d or even an albins. Just ask a competitive 6100 "spec trophy truck" what they pay for a built "turbo 400"

    Which CV grease to use?

You should never see CV joints pushing 400*... Most duners probably get there joints from 160-240* as stated by board members above. Believe it or not super finishing the joints dropped the operating temp of the cv joint by 14 - 16* per our tests... So it does more than just make it look shinny...
