I have used Cat Desert Gold for years and never had an issue. However, I don’t think it’s available anymore. When I run out of the few tubes that I have left…..?????

I still have some of these available. Also have a few that mount on a 1.5” tube. They are new still in the plastic bag and made in the USA by RBP.

What is your recommendation for the diameter of the alternator pulley to make it last?

A stock alternator is around 100 amps. That’s what I have in my car. With all my lights, fans, fuel pump, ECU, gauges, etc on I’m probably using 80 amps or less. But I don’t have a stereo with a bunch of speakers or a radio. Best way to determine what amperage alternator you need is to add up...

Great idea. If Mother Nature would cooperate it might be a possibility.

I use plastic tubing and double hose clamp at both ends.

I have installed the Fumoto oil drain valve on my previous sand cars and I like how it reduces the mess during oil changes. So I decided to do the same with this car. But the bottom tube is too close so I can’t get it started. Once it’s threaded all the way in, it looks like there will be enough...
