It was certainly a dumb idea for me to even think about going that route. Didn't realize I could buy a caliper and a bracket that would bolt on. I was just thinking how much work it was going to be if I had to custom build it. Either way it has to be done right.

I found a video showing how long it takes for it to engage. And even when I called them they said it took 2 to 4 seconds to fully engage. That matched up to the video. By then I'm into the back of another car. Plus that was using cables and those little tiny five or six inch shoes on the...

I think I came up with a better idea for my emergency brake setup. Just because this truck has such a freaky double hydraulic system brake system. Another redundant system sure would be nice. So if I do a turning break handle with its own little master and fluid. Then they make this kit that...

Bled it correctly and now the system works as it should. Fans kick on when they are supposed to. Crazy how good that big Dewitts radiator is on a cold day when it is idling. Top hose is hot with the water going in and as you feel down the tank it gets colder and colder and then the bottom hose...

At least I have the ICT steam kit installed correctly. Just need to fill and burp correctly.

Well four heat cycles and no water getting pumped to the radiator. So then I started putting thermostats in boiling water and got three of them all to open. Pulled the lower hose off and don't see any obstructions like leaving a stupid rag in it. So tomorrow I guess I'll pull the water pump off...

First startup with just a base tune. Motor had only run for a couple minutes before this video. Thermostat not wanting to open so hopefully that breaks free soon.

System will hold 12-13 quarts. Right now from bench testing at RPM there is about 5 quarts in the system. Pull the fill plug now and oil runs out. I have to pull the plug in the pan and start putting in fluid right away after it starts and pumps through the trans. Can't check it without the...

So with two hydraulic systems for the brakes there is a Wilwood master in the cab which is part of the first system. Which engages a Jeep clutch slave cylinder which is part of the second system. If anything ever fails in the first system I will lose brakes. So important that I put a real good...

Since the truck does not have brakes yet we will have to ratchet strap front and back to the rack.
