Motorhome storage question. Desert Hills AZ

So with us closing the shop and in the near future selling the property I need to relocate my motorhome. I am fortunate to get a space from a family member in Desert Hills AZ. My concern is critters getting into the coach. Wiring etc. This will be parked outside in the back on an acre lot at...

Carvana rant. Not even 10 minutes off the truck....

Well taking it to the dealer sure was some good advice. Although now I'm between a rock and a hard place. Carvana gave us a 7-Day extension and our deadline tomorrow is 5:00 p.m. paying $220 to the dealer for an inspection which I think in the end will be well worth it. Valve cover is leaking...

After 54 years I am done.

Been riding two wheelers for 54 years and my last one just drove away on a truck. A little bit sad. Some of the best times in my life were on two wheels

1967 Dodge A-100 Hot rod sort of rat rod build thread.

Warranty now completely voided. That was fun trying to drill straight through to the other hole. Ended up making a second set of plates trying to get just a little bit more. Also notched the floor a little bit. Wasn't able to lower the pedal very much but I was able to change the angle quite a...

We have a ton of the red and blue fragola fittings left over. I'm thinking for my engine cooler and trans cooler lines just running regular braided hose versus PTFE. Then take these fittings and soak them with easy off of and cleaner to remove the anodized. Then paint them flat black. Save a few...

1967 Dodge A-100 Hot rod sort of rat rod build thread.

We are very close. Probably a hard week for both of us so another 100 hours maybe. Although that is now getting spread out among other things. Need to do an order from Fragola for my PTFE line fittings. Brake lines need made. Airbag lines need run and hooked up. There is still some wiring to...

    1962 Corvette Resto Mod build

Well after 5 years got to take it for its first real drive home tonight. 22 miles from the shop to my house. Awesome is an understatement. So effortless with that much torque and a light car. With the old style halibrand 15" wheels and only a 235 BFG wide rear tire at 55 mph and shifting from...

    1962 Corvette Resto Mod build

At the rear wheels 341 horsepower and 367 ft lb of torque. Our mustang Dyno is very stingy on numbers. We have run a lot of cars on this Dyno over the years and I can tell you that is a lot of power and torque for a 3000 lb car. Should be an absolute blast. Going to drive her home tonight I think.

Wow...... This was such an important election. So much was at stake. So now I'm wondering what kind of crap can this administration can pull before Trump is sworn in? Did I hear somewhere that he can actually pardon hunter?

Well we just got a call from Firestone and the new tires are installed. So their stock price is going to go down now.

Repop replacement mirrors for this truck. Suckers were expensive but this will give me the look that I want. Need to try glass bead the Chrome on these and paint them. That might be fun.

Squared everything up with some string this morning. And then set the rear and front toe in. It is all within a 16th of an inch and then the alignment guys can take it from there. I have no idea what we're going to do on camber for this truck. I was thinking about having the alignment done...
