I have used Cat Desert Gold for years and never had an issue. However, I don’t think it’s available anymore. When I run out of the few tubes that I have left…..?????

I still have some of these available. Also have a few that mount on a 1.5” tube. They are new still in the plastic bag and made in the USA by RBP.

A stock alternator is around 100 amps. That’s what I have in my car. With all my lights, fans, fuel pump, ECU, gauges, etc on I’m probably using 80 amps or less. But I don’t have a stereo with a bunch of speakers or a radio. Best way to determine what amperage alternator you need is to add up...

Great idea. If Mother Nature would cooperate it might be a possibility.

Continue working on my sand car. I cross something off the list and then something else pops up that I need to address.

Finished putting all the fuel lines together and installing them. No leaks! I also added a shutoff valve and a “T”. So now I can change filters etc. without making a big gas mess and drain the tank when needed. The 90* elbow coming out of the bottom of the fuel tank was bent from the skid plate...
