I finished relocating the radiator and it turned out to be a better vertical angle than I had expected. Airflow will remain from top to bottom. Some before and after pictures.

Still working on the sand rail. Didn’t get the transaxle back yet. Hopefully get it Monday so I get it in and head to Glamis for the weekend.

Worked on the sand car yesterday and a Super Bowl party or two today.

I used my clutch. Guess I’m ol skool cause my right hand and left foot are in sync with each other. On a dirt bike no clutch. Different set of muscle memory. At the sand drags I wouldn’t use the clutch but in the dunes it just seemed more natural to use the clutch.

I nominate @RIDERED. He pulled me out of the dunes and back to camp New Year’s weekend when I broke my transaxle. He also helped get my sand rail back into my enclosed and has given me advice on doing the fabrication to get a better transaxle installed. I was only one good deed. He also slaved...

Mine came off by just starting at one spot and peeling it. If I hit a tough area I used a plastic putty knife to break the glue loose.

I tried one years ago but went back to the abrasive blades. When a blade for the circular saw gets too small I use it on the grinder.

I have had both in the past without any problems. I currently have a Ron Davis and haven’t had any issues. I needed a modification for it and took it to CBR. They are in Lake Elsinore which is more convenient for So Cal people.

Working on the sand car. The fab work to get the 2d in and other stuff relocated is taking more time than expected. But that’s usually the case for me.
