    The Boy’s 2002 F-150 SCrew

Sparkplug issue is overblown (hehe). 97-2000 (ish) non PI heads didn't have enough threads. 2000+ PI heads had enough, but Ford didn't change the torque spec until later after blowouts continued. Follow the procedure, should be fine. :ROFLMAO: This one has a 100x5 all in one, and 2 JBLs in a...

    The Boy’s 2002 F-150 SCrew

The eldest needed a car since he’s 16 now. Wanted to also get a buggy, and the kid’s been squirreling away birthday, Christmas, allowance, odd job cash, etc since he was 6. Bought this guy with his own money for $5k from a neighbor. Went ahead and washed it up as much as we could (plan to...

What's your opinion/take on the efforts of DOGE?

What if they were clubbed by live kittens? Line drawn there?

    Generators what do you like

All generators should be up on some sort of platform to keep them out of the dirt. The filter stays cleaner, and it won't dig itself a hole from vibration. I build cribbing for them that doubles as a jack extension when I need to lift the buggy or Can Am. It'll likely last forever. Or at...

Racer Front Engine Sand Car - Why?

Only problem with those is they're great nutcrackers... On a roll cage near squishy humans. :ROFLMAO:

    Generators what do you like

More shit to think about: buddy just got one of the new fuel injected Hondas. Holy shit is that thing efficient and quiet. https://powerequipment.honda.com/generators/models/eu3200i But, also: holy shit is that thing expensive. :ROFLMAO:

    Generators what do you like

I will say: the Harbor Freights are impressively quiet. The 3200w Firman is almost indistinguishable noise level wise, but slightly different tone.

    Generators what do you like

Yep. I have a 2000w with at least 1500 hours on it. Uses a little oil now, but still works just fine. I’ve only changed the oil and knocked dust out of the air filter. Still starts first pull, never surges. In-laws have a 3200w that has at least 500 hours. It’s definitely quieter than the...

    Generators what do you like

Costco generator. The Firmans will all parallel together (according to Firman). Why Costco? Any problems with it: exchange it. No questions asked.

    Thoughts on this machine?

At least it's pointed at the occupants of the vehicle instead of outward at us to deal with.

The collector car insurance will be difficult for cool, but relatively normal, cars.

    Mac's Car Refresh

There's probably one sad little strand of wire, or something stupid like an alternator light, somewhere making continuity back to the battery on the ECU's switched power wire (output of the Switch Pro). Either the ECU turns on relays (fuel pump, fans, ignition) that are then backfeeding the ECU...

    Mac's Car Refresh

I assume you have something back-feeding the ECU switched circuit. With the battery unplugged, use a DMM and probe for continuity from the ECU trigger coming out of the Switch Pro to the output side of the relays for the fans and other ECU-on circuits to see if you're looping power somewhere...
