    The official Honda Thread

I removed the baffles for boost as they do not vent as needed for turbo applications. Should be fine in stock form. I would keep the ports open as one is for your pcv and just cap the other so you have it if needed in the future.

    The official Honda Thread

To get the most accurate results I put a small 10-12 inch level on the top of the intake plenum to ensure the motor is completely level. Once you establish the motor has the correct amount, you can then put the car back at ride height and make a mark on the dipstick to show the correct level.

    This is BS

If you repeatly ask someone nicely and politely to turn down the music to a decent level and they tell you to fuck off I don’t think it’s out of line at all. I am all for having a great time in Glamis and like most of us go there to unwind but having people play any kind of music at insanely...

    This is BS

I think the offenders don’t honestly care. They have a mentality of “F everyone else” and sadly it’s not getting any better. I’m all for music in camp but at a decent level so you can still talk by the campfire. Best plan is to wait till the go to bed and start cutting power wires to the...

    Turbo Honda 2D or S4

Two years on a turbo Honda (500+HP) and a 2D. Great setup and super reliable. I considered upgrading to an S4 simply to turn up the power on the Honda. Not sure on the weight difference between the 2D and S4 but I have a feeling it’s significant. Not having the low end torque with the J series...

Honda or Subaru - 091 Light Car

The stock Honda ecu is great and will only need to switch if boost is introduced. Nice thing about the Honda is you can get parts at any junkyard and OEM sensors are super cheap from there as well

Excessive Clutch dust with dual disc?

Finally had a chance to inspect. Clutch at almost no free play so I am assuming that is where all the dust came from. Got everything adjusted but cant start the car till later today to make sure it will go into gear.

Excessive Clutch dust with dual disc?

Spoke with my buddy and also Jason Alpert and both agreed that the clutch is probably not disengaged completely. (No free play on arm) waiting to get back into town to adjust it.

Excessive Clutch dust with dual disc?

Noticed a good amount of clutch dust on the skid plate and also on the starter when I pulled it out today. Is a lot of dust normal with a twin disc setup? Only had one day trip on it. Could the adjust be off and causing an issue? Car shifts fine.
