So had the car out this weekend and after putting a well prepared and cleaned up junkyard TB on, i was still having idling issues. Then it started to show signs of poor performance issues after idle. Puzzled by the problem, I was convinced by a friend to start looking at the fuel system. I...

Appreciate the input. I lucked out and they had two j32’s there. I checked out a couple j35s and they had different style connectors on some of the sensors so I didn’t bother. Funny to find that an odyssey and a pilot were missing their TB’s! Haha

Has anyone interchanged throttles bodies with different j series motors? Im going to pick a part today to grab a TB, hoping they have one for a j32a1. If they don't have any, am I safe to use a j35 TB? I know there are lots of interchangeable parts between the different j series motors. Not sure...

Recreational Helmet Use in the Dunes

Are you referring to what CA defines an ROV as? Can you provide a link to the CA.gov website that explains this change or provide the bulletin? This is a pretty big deal if true.... All I can find is that helmets are required for use of an "ROV". They (being CA) define an "ROV" as: CVC...

That's the salvage yard I was planning on going to and that price isn't bad at all. Totally worth grabbing a second one. I think I paid like $120 for just the IAC at oriellys which I thought was ridiculous. I appreciate that, but I have a j32a1 which I think might have a slightly different TB...

Thanks for sharing your experience on this one, glad you were able to get your idle issue fixed! I have the same exact idle issue. I replaced my IAC and cleaned the TB and was still having the problem. What did the junkyard TB run you?

You are correct, rear engine car. Appreciate the explanation, makes total sense. I believe that is how it was before I did the oil change, but I can't recall. Just concerned if I put a little too much oil in what issues I would cause. I think I am in the clear then. I am right between the low...

Ok, make sense. I got the car jacked up enough to get the front of the car high enough were the motor is pretty much level with a torpedo level. Checked the dip stick and it a little over the high line on the dip stick. Do you think I am still in the safe zone on my oil level?

Had a tough time finding anything on this specific topic. First time owning a honda v6 and I am doing an oil change. I have a j32a1 and its supposed to take 4.6qts. I put that exact amount in and its reading right at the low line on the dip stick with the front suspension at normal ride height...

    Minor Makeover

that is a bummer. Appreciate the update on this. Not sure what you plan on doing, but there is another product made by SEM that seems to be pretty legit. They have alot of good information on their website for what to use to prepare the materials for application that I was able to read up on...

GPS recommendation for Funco / Suspension Unlimited cars

@sddoublee My buddy is selling a Lowrance hds 5m in Menifee for $250. Comes with the axia alloy mounts. Came out of his gen 3 funco. Works great zero issues. I was able to mess with it before he pulled it out of the car. I could read it no problem during the day. Might be what your looking for...

    Tankless Water Heater- good idea?

I'm in SoCal. I usually have to fill my tank up 2 times a year. 200gal LP tank, I fill it at 30-40%. That's with a family of 3 and regular use. No recirc pump. I would assume you'd see more LP usage with the recirc pump. But they are timer based, so you can set them up to what best suits your needs.

    Tankless Water Heater- good idea?

I am on my second regulator. We swapped it out initially to rule out the issue. But you make good point and having actually checked for that yet. I will have to check that out when the issue happens again. Thanks!
