Ricky was saying it was a good idea to save the pump / system from too much pressure buildup 🤷♂️. He said the Howe system has it built into the cap (radiator style cap)… my old car had a gear one reservoir and didn’t have any sort of pressure relief
@parker@gearone any input on this?
Got a new power steering reservoir from kartek and it has a pressure relief port that can be drilled out. Got me thinking… do we need to have pressure relief on our power steering systems? Current reservoir was the basic HOWE can. Switching to a reservoir w/ spin on filter.
Thinking maybe something like this? Is 5lb a good size for my application?

Thanks for the feedback. Yesmain point of the system would be to give passengers and I a little more time to get out safely.
Anyone have any kits they recommend that are DIY friendly?
Seems like a good product. Does this also help with keeping the fuel fresh by having less oxygen exposure? Or does this simply just filter out the smell of the fuel?
I’m not sure. The issue I can see would be reverse, unless you can get electric reverse lockout for an S4S? Probably would have to ask weddle to get confirmation
